Founded in 2023 in Düsseldorf and Cologne, spirit of sacrifice is a sustainable streetwear brand shaped by the essence of hip hop, techno, and minimalism. By merging raw subcultural aesthetics with conscious design, we aim to deliver high-quality streetwear garments that are both durable yet wearable for everyday use. With our production moving to Europe our mission is to shape a more sustainable future in fashion. Relying on a garment production made in Portugal we are using 100% organic cotton with every piece being hand-finished in Germany. In collaboration with local artist collectives, we create unique screen prints that give each garment its own story — no mass production, just individual craftsmanship. At spirit of sacrifice, we believe in transparency, quality, and responsibility. We’re not just making clothes — we’re addressing the urgent need to rethink how we consume fashion. Deeply connected to music, urban culture, and design, we bridge the gap between streetwear and sustainability, and strive to redefine what streetwear can be.
spirit of sacrifice is more than just a brand — it’s a shared vision brought to life by two long-time friends with complementary backgrounds and a common purpose. Founders Oleg Bekker and Kilian Lindner grew up together, knowing each other since kindergarten. What began as a childhood bond evolved into a creative partnership rooted in mutual trust, shared values and a deep passion for fashion, design, and culture. Oleg Bekker is an artist and designer with a background in Communication Design from the renowned Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences. Influenced by Bauhaus principles and modern technologies, his work merges 3D and graphic design to create a visual language that is both minimal and expressive. Born in Kazakhstan and raised in Germany, Oleg discovered art and painting early on as a personal outlet — a form of expression that continues to shape the creative DNA of spirit of sacrifice. Kilian Lindner brings in a strong foundation in management and creative direction. With studies in Management and Clothing Technology at Hochschule Niederrhein, University of Applied Sciences — a university focusing on clothing engineering and sustainability — his approach blends both functionality with conscious innovation. After spending nearly three years in China and Taiwan, Kilian draws deep inspiration from the energy of East Asian style mixed with his early passion for music and fashion, weaving those influences into the brand’s aesthetic. Together, they form a perfectly balanced team — not just professionally, but personally. spirit of sacrifice is a matter of heart, not hype. With a strong belief in slow fashion, every piece is approached with care, intention, and time. The goal is never mass production, but rather the creation of garments that carry meaning — rooted in quality, culture and a long-standing friendship that defines the spirit behind the name.
